I have a MacPro. Recently, my computer was wiped. I lost all my software. I purchased CS2 years ago. I updated by purchasing CS5 a few years later. My CS software was automatically updated by Adobe several months ago. Now, when I need to reinstall/download my software I can't do it. I need to reinstall CS2 before I reinstall my CS5 upgrade. However, my computer will not accept the CS2 software anymore. How can I get my software back?

I need to reinstall CS2 before I reinstall my CS5 upgrade.

That's not necessary. You only need to re-install the very latest version that you own (full or upgrade version - all versions include the full program code, it's the serial number which distinguishes full from upgrade) - even on a machine which has never previously had any Adobe software installed.

The installer will ask you to enter the serial number from a previous version to verify you are eligible to use the upgrade.

Which is the latest version you own? CS5 or CS6? Do you have all your serial numbers?

Install then enter your serial number.

That's not necessary. You only need to re-install the very latest version that you own (full or upgrade version - all versions include the full program code, it's the serial number which distinguishes full from upgrade) - even on a machine which has never previously had any Adobe software installed.
