I have been trying, on and off for three days to download Lightroom 5 which I purchased, in good faith a full retail price version.  I have tried at various times of the day and night usually getting to about 30% downloaded once getting to 99% with 1sec to go every time out of seven or eight tries it had frozen up.  I bought this product in good faith.  I have a very expensive PC (purchased only three months ago) running Windows 7 with huge hard drives and water cooled system with more RAM than anybody I know.  This is not good enough.  When I read your numerous solutions for my problem I read about things written in words that I do not understand.  All I want is Lightroom 5 I do not want to learn all this gobble de gook...I am nearly seventy eight years old...I dont have three days to mess around with your flawed system for supplying me with a product I want to use TODAY.

Install errors can have all sorts of causes which not necessarily must be attributed to hardware. Have you followed standard procedures like turning off security tools that may interfere? Otherwise finding the installer logs might clarify matters.
