I have been using Photoshop CS6 Student Edition on 2 laptops; upgraded one from Windows 8 to Windows 10 without deactivating CS6 and installer says I have 2 options already and cannot install

I purchased Photoshop CS6 Student Edition through B&H in 2014 for two users, which I have been using in my 2 laptops, and yesterday I upgraded one of my Laptops from Windows 8 to Windows 10 without deactivating the Photoshop CS6 Student Edition on it. Now when starting downloading the software again in the same laptop the installer says I have used the 2 options and cannot install another software. What do I do to install the software again?

A Win10 upgrade is SUPPOSED to maintain all existing software without having to reinstall... so exactly how did you install Win10?

Anyway, to have your activation count adjusted you have to contact Adobe directly
