I have bought Photoshop Elements, and when I tried to download it, it said that my serial number was invalid. What do I do?

I was given my serial code upon purchasing Photoshop Elements off the Adobe website. Half way through downloading it asked for my serial code, so I typed it in. But it said "This serial code is invalid for Adobe Photoshop Elements 13", even though thats what I bought.
