I have CS5.5 and my mac had a bad hard drive, after fixing adobe does not recognize my product code to redeem my serial and re activate my product.

If you already used the redemption code once it is no longer of any use.  You need to retain the serial number you were given so that you can reactivate any future installations.   If you did not keep a record of your serial number, look at your Adobe account online and see if the serial number is listed there (might be if you registered).  If you are still unable to find find you can try contacting Adobe support using chat:
