Hi Keith,

Not sure if this helps or if you already got this sorted but here are a few more suggestions

In additional to trying to launch Lightroom CC 2015/Lightroom 6 from within Creative Cloud app (like BruceGov was suggesting) you might also check the Start Menu

One thing that might be confusing and why you were missing it, is that it is just labelled as Adobe Lightroom, so doesn't include CC 2015 or 6 in the title in the Start menu or in Program Files.

You could also open the Adobe Lightroom folder in Program Files/Adobe

I could see you had it based on the screen shot you posted.

There are a lot of files in there, but the Lightroom program is in there too, lightroom.exe (you'll spot it because it has the typical LR logo for the icon). You should be able to double-click that to launch as well.

There were a lot of great suggestions here, hopefully you were able to get it sorted...

Some of this was already mentioned above, but for the benefit of others viewing this link, here is an explanation of the  Lightroom 6 upgrade options:

You can purchase Lightroom 6 as a part of the creative cloud photography package, part of creative cloud, as a stand alone product or as a product upgrade. Please first verify that your system meets the system requirements .

If you purchased  a previous version of lightroom as a perpetual product rather than the creative cloud, you would need to purchase an upgrade to Lightroom 6. Udpdates are free for stand alone versions, but upgrades need to be purchased.

If you wish to purchase an upgrade to Lightroom 6 from an earlier version, please  see this link:  Products .  Scroll down to lightroom and click "buy". Click on the selectable text by " I want to: "and select "upgrade". Then select the version you are upgrading from in the pulldown.

If you already installed the trial for Lightroom CC but you wish to install Lightroom 6 without Creative Cloud, you can serialize it to activate it as Lightroom 6. See details at this link:
https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/kb/serialize-lightroom-cc-trial-to-activate-as-lightroom -6.html

If you install lightroom 6/ Lightroom CC 2015 and it closes as soon as you launch it, Please see this link : Lightroom doesn't launch or quits automatically after splash screen
