I have reinstalled my Pc and logged of Lightroom 6 first and deactivated Photoshop Elements 11. When Windows 10 was running as it could I installed Lightroom 6 with it's key and logged in. I did the same with Photoshop 11 but it prompts me now and then for my adobe ID. The ID is rejected but I can use it to login to Lightroom and Adobes website - it must be ok. Is Adobe trying to tell me that Photoshop 11 is to old?

The reason was that my PhoshopElements 11 was too old and Adobes licensserver for this version isn't running anymore. I have upgraded to the latest version. Adobe told me. And the latest version was cheaper.

I have Lightroom too but think that this a "nice to have" thing.

If support told you that, they were wrong.

I just tried deactivating, uninstalling, and reinstalling PSE 11 and it worked for me by inputting the serial number.

Hi! Odd. Elements shouldn't be asking for an Adobe ID at all. A serial number, yes. To better help you, could you provide us with some screenshots so we can see what you're seeing?
