I have submitted my proof of eligibility but I still do not have my serial number

Mine didn't come with a serial number. I bought a student/teacher edition of Creative Suite 6.  I've gone through and completed the validation process and was told I would recieve an email containing the serial number. I still haven't gotten that email. I've done the online chat (no help at all) and currently I'm making my 5th phone call to Adobe's call center. On all previous attempts, I've had to leave a call back number due to 2hour wait times(never got a call). I understand it gets busy but I feel there's a huge lack of support, or care, for anyone who bought an adobe product. I spent $349 on this... school and living is already too expensive for me. Please don't tell me I've wasted precious money on this.

    Daniel first are you located in North America?  If not then which country/region are you located in?

    If you are in North America then have you submitted your proof of eligibility that you qualify for the Student and Teacher edition of Creative Suite 6?  If not then please see http://forums.adobe.com/message/4634728#4634728 which discusses this topic.  Also if you use your e-mail address from your educational institution it will further expedite the process of being approved.
