Question

I have the student package for Creative Cloud, and updating loses access to programs

I've had the Student package for Adobe Creative Cloud since January of this year, and have so far used Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and the Media Encoder for my classes. Today I discovered that I only had access to the free trial for Photoshop when I'd been hoping to use it right after downloading an update for the program. When I finished downloading an update for After Effects as well, it gave me the same message despite the fact that I had just loaded up the full version not ten minutes beforehand. Same problem with Media Encoder, updating restricted me to the trial version.

Edits...

1. Signing out and signing back in, restarting my computer, and attempting to reinstall affected programs did not fix the problem.

2. The Adobe website isn't showing me an invoice or plan. I was able to access my invoice earlier this morning, and it showed a charge for this month a few days ago. Also tried the Limited Access Repair tool and it said zero files were fixed; when I opened up the hosts file again, there were no Adobe-related entries in there.

"Getting started" is the right forum for this sort of question, after the great forum reorganisation of a few days ago.

Anyway, this does suggest that your plan may be under a different email address. Please check the email address on the invoice matches the one with which you are signing in. If that doesn't help you'll need to call Adobe Customer Service.

Note: you may get a reply giving an email address or Skype contact. Adobe have neither, these will be scammers hoping to trick you.

Some kind of account screwiness going on apparently, it's still me. I can't access my Invoice at the moment for some reason, it says I have no items available. The only other email address I would use for anything like this (haven't touched any other address in over two years) doesn't have an Adobe account associated with it.

This isn't really a getting started thing, I've had CC for ten months and been using it just fine until now.
