I have to wait for Creative Cloud to open when I run Photoshop 2020

I have Creative Cloud set to not run at startup in the preferences, but it keeps opening when I launch Photoshop 2020.  I also disabled CC in the task manager under Start-up.  Any ideas how to get it to stop launching?  It's annoying and slowing me down.

Hi there,

 

Is the Creative Cloud app asking you to sign in? Try signing in once and then close the app by clicking on the X on the top right corner to close the Creative Cloud app.

No, I'm already signed in when it opens.
