Trying to figure out how I can deactivate old devices when I no longer have access to them

    Correct answer Jeff_A_Wright

@Angus2202 thank you for posting and for your long-term use of Acrobat. Please see

for information on how to manage any remaining activations for the license of Acrobat that you purchased. You will need to deactivate one of the previous installations if you want to reclaim an activation for use on a new computer. If you don’t have access to any of the devices where it was previously installed, then you will need to find a new solution in 2026.

I have Acrobat 2015 installed on laptop A

I had it running on laptops B C & D reviouls and its not deactived on those.  I have access to Laptop B - but had uninstalled Acrobt assumign that deactivated it, but apparently not.  I can’t inctall 2015 again on that unit currently, under the premise it recognaize it as having been previously installed, to deactivate it.  If I deactivate Laptop A, which should allow me to installed it on B, will it see the activation on B as one of the older activations and allow me to deactivate it, thereby freeing up a license?  Of will it see this as a new activation and in ordr to put it back on laptop A i will have to deactivate B to free up to only remaining license… if that all makes ssense?

You won’t know until you try, and there’s no guarantee for any particular outcome. The infrastructure to run this 11-year-old version of Acrobat is not being actively maintained by now.

It’s unlikely that it’s possible. The infrastructure to run this 11-year-old version of Acrobat is not actively maintained by now.
