I just signed on to the creative cloud program can't download the app. Why can't I download?

i started by buying the creative cloud. I tried to download the creative cloud app. I tried multiple times but kept getting an error message that the browser had stopped activity and informed me to cancel the operation. I did multiple times without success. So far I have been unable to download a single program form the creative cloud site, My browser, firefox and IE are both functional and will download other files, Any ideas about what might be wrong with my attempts?
