I'm trying to redeem a code but it says the code is invalid which is not true.

I just received a code from my school to use Adobe cloud. There's no way the code is invalid because I literally just generated it from                              the school's website complete with an agreement number and enrollment number. However, when I go to type in the code (in the link, provided by Adobe) I get a message that says the code is invalid. The code is not invalid and I'm typing it in correctly. Why isn't it being recognized by Adobe? What gives?
