My G5 crashed and I was using CS2.

I am going to install CS 5.5 on my new iMac,

it only has one disk as an upgrade, do I need to install my CS2 first

or can I just install the upgrade?

    Hi Dave Ferrin,

You dont need to install CS2 before installing the upgrade as long as you have the CS2 product serial number.

The CS5.5 upgrade installer will check your system for a qualifying previous version of the software. If it cannot find any, it will prompt you to enter the CS2 serial number for verification.

You will then be prompted to enter the new serial number (for CS5.5) and installation will continue.

    Thanks
