I need help activating my old CS2 software

I have been using my Photoshop CS for years now and it has been working fine. Now all of a sudden I have to re activate it. It is not a bootleg or from someone else. I bought the disc and software. My problem is I click on to use PS and it says I have to activate it. The screen says that and internet connection is detected and when I click next it starts to activate and I see the bar moving but then it says the activation systems is not available at this time.

Then I tried to other activating options, I click on activate over the phone. A screen pops up with steps to follow and my serial number and activation code and an activation type code that says "Repair 5:12029.

At the very bottom it requests and authorization code. So I call the number and follow the automated system. I input all the codes and then the automated system says it cannot get me at this time and if I would like to speak to a representative. I hit yes and then a recording says that Adobe is not providing support over the phone and to log on to your Adobe account.

I then logged on to my account to retrieve a code but it does not show me how to get my Photoshop activated again.

I am going crazy and I desperately need to use my Photoshop I don't use it often this why I have not upgraded because for what I do Photoshop CS has been adequate. But I need to finish some work so I need to use it asap.
