I need help finding my serial number

I have PSE 10 loaded an old PC Laptop.  I have been having issues with my computer for over a year and therefore have not been able to utilize my software during that time frame.  I finally have a new Mac Laptop and one of the things I was most looking forward to was getting back into my Photoshop.  I have my discs and the case them came in but cannot locate my serial number anywhere.  I fear there may have been an insert that I have misplaced.  I am almost positive that I registered when I got the software years ago but your system is telling me I have no registered account.  I have therefore reregistered and have searched the forums for a way to locate the number (I do still have limited access to my old PC and have searched high and low on my software to see if I can locate the serial number there as I have been able to do with literally ever other program) and have had no luck.  Many forum posts recommend to contact live chat as that is the only way to get your lost serial number.  I have literally waited for 45 minutes getting nothing but: We are still assisting other customers, thank you for your patience. You can also try our community forums, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. from the live chat.  I am beyond frustrated at this point.  This software was bought for me brand new as a present, regretfully, the computer I installed is not working properly and I need to reinstall it.  This should not be this hard of a process to do and contacting support should not take HOURS to do.

    Momontherun,

If you need to find your serial number for a non-creative cloud product, start by logging in to your adobe account. (Go to Adobe .com  and click “Sign In” in the upper-right menu bar. Enter the email you use as your Adobe ID and your password.) All of your registered products and their serial numbers will be listed in the Plans & Products section on the Manage Accounts page that appears.

For more information on locating or registering serial numbers, please see this link: Find a serial number.

Once you have the serial number,  you can download the mac file for Photoshop Elements here:  Elements 13, 12, 11, 10

Once downloaded and installed, it will ask for you to enter the serial number from your purchase.

    Regards,

    Pattie

you can recover your serial number from your pc, Belarc Advisor - Free Personal PC Audit, for software, hardware and security configuration information on your computer.…

oops, i just saw you're trying to install on a mac.  i'm not sure your win serial number will work with a mac installer.  it may so try if all else fails.

pse was a dual platform program but you may have been issued a mac serial number for it.  if so, it may be associated with the account used to purchase/register is, Adobe ID
