I bought Creative Suite 5 in June 2014 from an Amazon reseller. Adobe will not help.

My computer "refreshed itself" and all programs are gone. Adobe is USE-LESS.

I need to get new numbers to reinstall. Please help.

Ammemm I am sorry that you are facing difficulty locating your serial number for Creative Suite 5.  As Ned indicated the only serial numbers we will have on file are serial numbers that registered at http://www.adobe.com/.

I reviewed the e-mail address you utilized to post to this forum Ammemm and there is no products registered to that e-mail address.  I would recommend contacting our support team directly at Contact Customer Care.  Please be prepared with any alternate e-mail address or phone numbers that may have been utilized to register the software.

If you are reinstalling on an up to date operating system then I would recommend downloading a new copy of the retail installation files from Download Adobe Creative Suite 5 products.  The security certificates were updated for these installers several years ago.  As opposed to the original security certificates included with the DVD.

I have a copy of Creative Suite 5 purchased from Adobe; NOBODY will help. That software was installed more than once; therefore the serial numbers on the site do not work. The serial number shows as invalid; in the past, I have always received new serial numbers from Adobe for third install, such as when a new computer is purchased, or when the program is corrupted or whatever and needs a re-install. One of these installs was because I tried, and greatly disliked Adobe Cloud. I also didn't like the Adobe person's comment that I should get a Mac to use Adobe products. Which is ridiculous. After all the money since 1989 spent by me personally for by me for companies, I think it is absolutelyl unacceptable that this situation cannot be resolved.

Annem50108323 I am sorry that you are facing difficulties reinstalling Creative Suite 5.  Please make sure to utilize the registered serial number as discussed by Bob in message #1 of this discussion.

If you continue to face difficulties then please contact our support team directly as discussed in message #4 of this discussion.  If you continue to receive errors then can you please post the case number, from your interaction with our support team, to this discussion.

Finally if you have a volume license for Creative Suite 5 then you will need to download the volume license installation files from https://licensing.adobe.com/.  If you attempt to use the retail installation files, discussed and linked in this discussion, then you will receive the error message that your serial number is invalid.

there should be zero problems as the CS5 was only installed once -- two different packages were purchased and neither serial number, nor the one on file works. My computer is not installing the Cloud versions, keeps telling me to update this and update that. NIGHTMARE! May cancel and go to Corel if this is not resolved. This should not be as difficult and now I recall why I stopped using it last time -- primarily because I found myself using the CS5 because not everyone has superfast internet. I feel super ripped off.

If you registered the software with Adobe when you originally activated it then you might be able to find the serial number thru you account online.   If it is not there and you did not retain the serial number from when you purchased it, it is unlikely you will be able to get the installation working again beyond a trial period.   The bottom line is that it is your responsibility to safeguard your license information. It is not up to Adobe keep important information like this for you.

Well, Ned, I ACTUALLY DID REGISTER THE FIRST VERSION OF CREATIVE SUITE WITH ADOBE!!!!! BUT THEY WOULD NOT HELP THEN because they wanted me to go to Cloud, which I tried and disliked. Especially since I have spent, in the last 25-30 years, over $20 grand by myself and with employers even more thru Adobe. A) The help is dismissive of Windows users (because "professionals use Macs") and B) they don't care about anything but $$$$$ and want everyone chained to the cloud.

Do you REALLY think I would spend $1200 bucks on something and NOT register it. Shame on you for your oh so unhelpful answer.
