I need to re-install Adobe audition 3.0

I still have the old serial numbers, but I cannot activate it any longer. What do I need to do? I just purchased a new computer. I understand I need to download a version that does not need to be activated. But I could not find the program I need. Do I need to download everything? Which program includes adobe audition? How do I get a different serial number that works?

Download links for Audition 3 are there. You probably didn't go far enough. Keep clicking.

Go to Error: Activation Server Unavailable | CS2, Acrobat 7, Audition 3

Click "2. Download and install CS2 applications"
Click English
On the next screen click I accept
Click English and links (and serial numbers) are revealed

Mac or Windows? Which operating system?

Audition 3 will not run on modern Macs so don't waste your time trying.

May work OK on Windows.

I am using Windows 7 on my new computer. However, my friend is able to use Windows 8.1, so that should not be the problem. Actually, I could install it, I just could not activate it.
