I need to reinstall Adobe.

I have been having a lot of problems with my Adobe program.  I would like to reinstall it but I don't see where the original file is.  I purchased online, and don't see the link in my email receipt or in my account here.  Am I looking in the wrong place? Is this not the way to go about doing it?

    Which Adobe program?

    Which version?

    Which operating system?

    It is Adobe 9. I purchased it in 2009. I am running Windows XP.
