I need to uninstall CS2 but Control Panel won't let me.

I need to uninstall CS2 before I can re-activate it, according to the info at http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/creative-suite-2-activation-end-life.html

When I try to uninstall, I get the message, "Missing or invalid personalization information..Missing resource library."
