Question

I need uninstallers for CS6

I have the CC Photography bundle for Mac.

OS X Catalina is here, and I hear that if I don't uninstall my old CS6 files, I may not be able to once I go to Catalina.

BUT ... my Uninstall aliases don't connect to actual uninstallers.

Can I download the CS6 uninstallers? If so, where?

    InDesign CS6 - Config error 1
    Photoshop CS6 - Config error 1

Extension Manager - opened but didn't do or display anything except app title at top of screen

Bridge - opened; extension manager failed but Reopen worked

From what you've said I think I can probably just delete the above.
There may be some small files left around, but I can live with that.

    So just to be clear.

You have both CS 6 installed and the newer Creative Cloud programs and both of those run on your system? What I mean by run is they both open and function?

I ask that because there is a feature, Which is turned on by default with the CC apps, to Uninstall older versions when you install the CC program.

Iknow that when I first installed Photoshop CC it uninstalled Photoshop CS5 from my system. But it did leave the main folder with a few files and a couple of folders in it. Which I then deleted, once I was sure all my settings, actions and the like had been carried over.

First, I want to KEEP my CC components.

Second, In Applications/Utilities I have a few UNinstallers, but they are for the CC stuff I am keeping.

Third, in Applications/Adobe I have a folder for each CS6 app, and each one has an Uninstall icon.

    • The one for Illustrator worked.
    • The ones for InDesign and Photoshop gave "... the original item can't be found."  I can't "Fix Alias" because there are no such files on my hard drive. Yes, I searched.
    • Bridge, Extension Manager and Content Viewer don't even have aliases for an uninstaller

Niot sure what you mean by Ubinstall Alias. If there is an uninstaller it will be in the Apps folder or one of the subfolders.

You could search your drive for "uninstaller".

Or you could use the CC cleaner tool to Wipe alll Adobe software from your Mac.
