How do I get out of a bad deal I never asked for?

If you want to cancel your subscription, you can go here.

However, if you agreed to a particular subscription plan that has a cancellation fee (which are always clearly outlined in the terms you agree to when you sign up), you may be out of luck.

There's nothing to sign.  Service begins as soon as your initial payment is processed.  See link below for details.  Legal subscription terms | Adobe

If you joined Creative Cloud for the annual plan, then you have a 1 yr commitment to the plan and 14 days in which to cancel, after which  early cancellation means a penalty fee  =  to 50% of the remaining contract amount.
