Question

I own Photo Elements 2023, but on my new computer it won't install. Since 2023 runs on Window 11, how do install 2023 on my new computer?

I got Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable but that didn’t help. What next?

    Thank you for posting, @Cat22086289wq6j.

I am sorry you are unable to use your Photoshop Elements 2023 license on your new Windows 11 computer. In addition to the helpful suggestions offered by @kglad, can you let us know what is preventing you from installing and using the software? Are you receiving an error message?

    Please see

for information on how to download non-subscription versions of Photoshop Elements including 2023.

Check specs? This answer is just as disingenuous as the procedure I had to go through to figure out that Adobe wants me to shell out $79 to upgrade. Why don’t they just say so, instead of a tortuous message about missing .dll files, leading to a complete waste of time downloading Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable?

yes, check if your computer’s specs meet your versions requirements.

and you don’t need to upgrade unless you have an incompatible computer and a current version is compatible.
