I potentially have been scammed? Advice!

Okay, I bought a CS6 Master Collection off of a sketchy site. It was my fault for buying It but the seller came through and gave me a key. I now want to verify if the key is genuine or not. I also want to inquire about the options other than trying to return it. Thanks!

Tonyg83304572, chat support is available at Contact Customer Care right now.  You should be able to contact chat support about any account related issues 24 hours a day.  If you are not seeing the chat option then I would recommend you use a different web browser, smartphone, or computer to begin the chat session.

You can also use the process listed in Find your serial number to register your recently purchased Master Collection CS6 serial number.  If the serial number fails to register then it is not valid.

It's almost certain that it is a scam. Since Adobe stopped making CS6 years ago, you have to ask yourself where anyone would get a supply. Also bear in mind that there are many cases where people can initially install and it's LATER blocked (sometimes months or years later) when Adobe find how they have been scammed (e.g. selling the same serial multiple times).

    For anyone else reading this

Never post private information on a public forum... including your actual email address or phone number

When an employee asks for information (identified by a STAFF badge where my ACP badge shows) hover your mouse over their name and then click the Message option in the popup window to send a private email

Adobe does not use Skype... if someone asks you to talk to them via Skype to "help" you, immediately report their Adobe ID in https://forums.adobe.com/community/forumhelp/forum_comments/content so the person may be banned from the forums
