I recently upgraded from a trial version to a year subscription for creative cloud. My LR is working fine the but the creative cloud window itself will not open up, why not?

I had the trial version of LR in which I had to install CC first. My trail was up and I purchased a year subscription for the photography plan. It made me download CC again. Now CC will not open. Lightroom is working fine but I cannot open CC to use photoshop or anything else?

what do you see when you try to open the cc desktop app?

a white empty panel, black panel, a spinning wheel, the app briefly opening and then closing, or something else?

I see the spinning wheel for only a second or two then nothing :/
