I subscribed to Creative Cloud, but it's telling me I'm in Tryout mode

I just subscribed to Creative Cloud. I downloaded a bunch of apps. Tried them all out. All was well.

But then I opened After Effects CS6 and it was telling me that I was in a Trial mode. Huh??

I then opened Adobe Illustrator CS6 and it's the same thing. What's going on?

The only thing I can think of is: I logged into my office computer (I did this at home so far) and downloaded from there as well.

Is it because I was signed in on my work machine that now my home machine is suddenly in trial mode?

I didn't have any of the applications opened in more than one place.

What's going on?

Hi All,

What operating system are you using?

I would recommend trying the steps mentioned below:

1. Launch the application which says you are in trial mode.

2. On the Creative Cloud application trial screen, click on "License this Software".

3. Sign in with your Adobe ID associated with your Creative Cloud membership.

Please reply to this thread if the issue persists.

Thanks

Could you fix tit? I have the exact same problem. It just keeps popping up even though I already validated the license.

Ahisap31589956 I would recommend utilizing the Host File fix option available in the CC Cleaner Tool.  You can download the tool at Use the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems .  For additional details I would recommend reviewing Advanced solutions to connection errors with Adobe Creative Cloud and Creative Suite applications  which has had several updates since this discussion was originally started.

So I have the same issue now in 2015.. how is this possible? I really need my software and have been an adobe costumer for 2 years now.

It keeps asking me for a licencecode and that I'm in trailversion even though I already paid my money to you..

The only fix you recommended is that i share my computerscreen with you?! Why would I allow you to be able to get in my computer .. I think that invades my privacy a LOT

Hope you can help, already tried 'buy your licence now' button but isnt working...

Problem 100% solved! It was the language.

Interesting so if you switch back to German or another language does it then put you back in trial mode?

Yes, it does.

I found the problem!!!

It is an UX issue. When you download from the manager, the "DMG" mounts on your desktop and we are clicking on it (like usual) and clicking on the installer. That is the issue. Don't do that. Pay attention to the application manager, and you will noticed the "downloading..." changing to "installing...". Just wait and withing 5 to 10 seconds you will see the progress bar filling in blue.

Definatelly a flawd user experience taking in consideration how we were used to do it before, but it works. The application Manager will download and install it all for you. It is at least true to the first call to action "install" in first place.

At the end you will see: "Installation Complete - Launch App" and boom!

Interesting Iamxande were you previously launching the application prior to the installation being complete?  Did you have the trials installed previously?

Hey here the same problem,

I subscribed to the Cloud.

Download the programms and then he tells me to login with my AdobeID.

And then I have to enter a serial.

Also I already have the adobe creative suite CS5. All of my products are registrated and when I get the Invoice I see that I have to pay the full price.

OK... I think I've found the problem... I've not been patient enought ... I've received a mail from adobe telling me that the cloud was now opened and since then, Photoshop was not in trial mode anymore.

I've received the activation mail and just tried installing Photshop on my Windows netbook. Same problem.

Same for me here. MacOsx 10.7.4. When I launch Photoshop and ask for licensing it, AAM ask for a licence key. I've try to remove all the old adobe products I have with "AdobeCreativeSuiteCleanerTool" and CleanMyMac, reboot and reinstall AAM and Photoshop CS6... Unfortunately I still have the problem.

I think I have found a solution.

Resetting the HOST file with this applescript:

display dialog "Warning!! You are about to change your HOSTS file back to factory default. Click OK if you want to proceed and click Cancel if you want to abort now."

if (button returned of the result) as text is "OK" then

  do shell script "echo \"##

# Host Database

#

# localhost is used to configure the loopback interface

# when the system is booting.  Do not change this entry.

##

127.0.0.1          localhost

255.255.255.255          broadcasthost

::1             localhost

fe80::1%lo0          localhost\" > /etc/hosts" with administrator privileges

else

  quit

end if

Worked for me!

Interesting Neilheesakkers these steps are similar to what was described in Sign in or activation errors | CS6, CS5.5 Subscriptions, CS6 Perpetual - http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-network-issues.html.  For those of you who have tried the steps listed by Gautham:

1. Launch the application which says you are in trial mode.

2. On the Creative Cloud application trial screen, click on "License this Software".

3. Sign in with your Adobe ID associated with your Creative Cloud membership.

Please also try the steps listed in Sign in or activation errors | CS6, CS5.5 Subscriptions, CS6 Perpetual - http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-network-issues.html.

OK, i have the same problem, i suscribed for complete year creative cloud, i downloaded some applications, everything ok, but after a while the apps start asking me for serial number because apparently i was using a trial version, but i never got a serial number while i was buying my subscription i didn't get an adobe email with it neither... so i logged in to my adobe account at adobe.com to review my purchase and to get my serial number and THERE IS NO PURCHASE!!! Adobe website dont have my subscription registered in my order history but they charged my credit card for my subscription!!!... oh and i just got 10GB for file storage... i thought adobe offer 20GB!?!?!?!?!?

Is this just a temporary issue or i just dont get my subscription and/or serial numbers even if i already paid for it?!?!?!?!?!

Help please!!!

Iam still getting nagscreen to enter serial code and when I click on the NO YOUR ADOBE ID to re-enter and login iam getting "NO CONNECTION TO THE INTERNET" but my connection is fine ...

Same problem here. My Creative Cloud account itself seems to be working just fine, since I can access Business Catalyst, Typekit etc., but whenever I'm trying to activate a CS6 app, it asks me for a serial number.

I did uninstall the Photoshop CS6 beta and some CS5.5 trial versions beforehand, so those shouldn't cause any problems.

I'm on an early 2009 iMac with OSX Lion and have a German education account.
