I've downloaded the wrong platform. Can't get to registration page to start return process.

I've downloaded the wrong platform. I need to register the product to change this, but all I get when I click on the register link is a runtime error for a java applet. How do I exchange my product? I can't get any support. It's as if Adobe doesn't care watsoever about its customers. I'm a 20 year user of their products. Frankly appalled by their standards of service.

    I'm trying to follow those Ned. I've managed to register the product using another browser. But the next step is to deactivate the product. I can't deactivate because I've n ever downloaded the product. It's Windows and I'm on a Mac.
