    What happens when you try to activate it on the new computer?  (If this is indeed what you are trying to do; the details are a bit vague.)

    Yes. I want to re-activate the Acrobat Acrobat 9 Standard in my new laptop, but failed.

    if you have the installation file, install and activate with your serial number.

    if you don't have the installation file and register with adobe, log into your account (using the same adobe id used to register the program) and your serial number will be listed, https://www.adobe.com/account.html

    if you need the installation file and failed to register your software with adobe, you'll need to contact whoever supplied the software.  if that was dell, https://smartsource.dell.com/
