I was in a chat yesterday to help me get Lightroom up and running with my serial number. The instal system just kept running going around in circles back to the start of downloading and extracting and finishing and then it woulkd start all over. Pl

They suggested I contact the forum.  I have deleted all of Lightroom off of my computer and want to start all over again.

    I have removed all of Lightroom from my computer and reoaded it with the serial number and it seems to be working OK accept it tells me the Catalogue it is trying to use is wrong.  It asks me to select a catalogue or to create a new catalogue.  I have no idea what this means and I do not know how to get around it to make LR work.

    the lightroom catalog named "Lightroom Catalog" cannot be opened because it is too new to be used by this version of Lightroom.  Would you like to select a different catalog?  This is the message when I first click on LR and I have no idea what to do.
