I would like to try lightroom, but cannot download, when click "download" nothing starts???

The download of lightroom trial from Adobe page will not work??? Any ideas...

    after clicking download, if you don't see the dl popup, make sure you disable your browser's popup blocker

    Which operating system are you running?

    Lightroom 4 will not work on Windows XP.
