Illustrator CC 17.0 will not start.

I tried launching my Illustrator and it asks to sign in. When I click on Sign In it tells me I'm not connected to the internet, which I am, so I click on contact customer support. It takes me to a web page that says "The Adobe software you're attempting to install is not genuine." which it is. I called customer care and they tell me to come here to the support community to get the issue resolved. Any ideas?
