Illustrator cs5 install failed on mac os x lion, exit code 6 and/or 7 Error

I am trying to install Illustrator cs5 Trial on my Mac os x lion so that I can upgrade and I continually receive exit code 6 and/or 7 Error message and then fails to install. I have had success installing trials of the other creative suite programs to test, it is jsut Illustrator that refuses to install, which is my main program. I have looked at the forums and followed various fix solutions but nothing is working. I currently have my MacBook Pro partitioned as Snow Leopard so I can use my programs and Lion so I can try to fix this problem. If the log data helps someone fix this problem I can paste it in but I do not understand much about logs.

Solution 1: Rename the following folders on your machine:

'/Library/ColorSync/Profiles/Profiles'

'/Library/ColorSync/Profiles/Recommended'

Solution 2: Rename the following files:

'/Library/Application Support/Adobe/caps/Media_db.db'

'/Library/Application Support/Adobe/caps/pdb.db'

Make sure you dont touch caps.db under the same folder. Now run the installer again. Let me know if you need more help.

Log files will definately help us a lot in getting to the core of the issue. So, please attach the install.log file(/Library/Logs/Adobe/Installers/[Adobe Application name<date>].log.gz)
