illustrator download update for mac

Just signed up to illustator but it's saying i need to update my system in order to install the app. My mac is already updated to OS X Yosemite 10.10.5 - can someone explain why i cannot install?

If your computer does not meet the requirements you can't run the program

 

If you can't upgrade your computer you need to cancel your subscription

    I don't think that is new enough

      Hi yes i think you're right! Do you have any suggestions on how to get
      around this? Is it possible to use illustrator on google chrome?
