Question

Impossible to use Photoshop on my Mac

Hi everyone,

I would like to use Photoshop on my Mac (Mac OSx El Capitan 10.11.6) but it's not possible anymore since the last update. Everything is fine with my computer, it works well, except I can't upgrade the OS anymore because it's too old. How can I carry on using Photoshop without having to buy a new computer (which would be absurd + a waste given it works well) ?

FYI Adobe support sent me a huge .dmg which was supposed to correct the problem except it was for more recent versions of Mac OSX.

Thanks a lot for your help !

Beatrice

ps cc 2018 was the last version compatible with your os.  you can download it here, https://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cc-2018-direct-download-links.html

follow the directions (esp, step 1)

save the install file. it may not remain online.

thank jim @ prodesigntools.com

Thanks a lot for answering me ! But I already have cc 2018 and have been working with it since it was issued.

I forgot to tell an important detail : the licence stopped working when I renewed my subscription 2 weeks ago.  The problem seems to be the new Photoshop licence and CC 2018 licence are now different (which was not the case before).

I asked Adobe support to switch my licence to cc 2018 again, but they answered me it was impossible and then sent me the huge .dmg not working with my OS.
