Incorrect serial number

When I try to install CS6 I choose the option with a serial number. When I type in the serialnumber which I find on my Adobe page it won´t work and I´m asked to contact support with the message that my serialnumber is incorrect.

    If you have your OS in a different language and have a English subscription change the installation language:

    The Adobe Application Manager defaults to the language settings of your operating system.  You can adjust the language to English by completing the following steps:

    1. Launch the Adobe Application Manager
      Windows:       Choose Start > All Programs > Adobe Application Manager
      Mac OS X:       The alias for the Adobe Application Manager is located in your Applications folder.
    2. Click your name in the upper-left corner of the Adobe Application Manager.
    3. Click Preferences.
    4. Next to Language choose English (International).
    5. Click Save.

    This issue occurs if you purchased the English language-only membership, but the Adobe Application Manager is set to a different language.

         

    When installed, the Adobe Application Manager sets the language to the default for the operating system.  If your default is German, then the Adobe Application Manager sets the language for German for your Creative Cloud applications.
