I am trying to download a free trial of Indesign, and it is stuck on "waiting." It has been saying "waiting" for an hour now. I tried uninstalling everything, using the adobe cleaner, restarting, etc. Nothing has worked. Please help - I need this program now.
So I figured out how to download the trial just by googling a solution that let me bypass the installer and just use the direct download link. I'm surprised no one mentioned this. I wasted a day trying to download it using the installer. This forum sucks. :/

That is temporary fix, but it is very important to fix the issue with CC app. it not only just installs the application , it also detects necessary updates from time to time automatically , whenever there is change in OS like Windows or Mac OS , respective patches updates are released .
but you can also download those patches from same direct link , but you will need to check website frequently to check for available updates or you can also check from Apps Help menu.
