CS6 will not work at all with Catalina

Otherwise, Apple did not maintain backward compatibility, so try this to install old programs

The guaranteed operation range of CS6 is 10.6 to 10.9, some application stay up 10.6 to 10.8.
Operation is not guaranteed on currently supported operating systems for Apple.
CS6 is already eight years old product, and macOS is a less compatible OS.

C6 is very old. and yes, if you are tying to install it on a new computer with a new OS it will not work. Look at the system requirements for software before you install it:

and its old software, so if you do get it to install. it will have bugs and issues that will not be supported by adobe.

If you want to run old software is a "buyer be ware" issue and you are on your own
