I'm trying to reinstall a older version of PS CS5 and when I download from adobe link I get an error message that Install.app is damaged and should eject. I'm unable to get any support from Adobe. Can anyone help?

I was able to find the solution here: Illustrator CS5 re-install error: Install.app can't be opened.

    On terminal type:

    xattr -c /Users/******/Downloads/yourfilename.dmg

    It worked for me.

You can also temporarily set "Allow Downloads from" to "Anywhere" and it will allow the install.  CS5 is "unsigned" and is blocked in the default security settings as an "unidentified" app.

‌Try downloading the installer again: Download Adobe Creative Suite 5 products

I've tried about 8 times with same results every time.

‌Glad to help. Edit: I am going to mark my previous reply correct - not in the sense it is 'correct' but so anyone else with the problem will be able to find a solution easier.

    Thank you.
