Install CC on external harddrive

Hi 🙂

Does anyone know if it is possible to install creative cloud on an external harddrive?
I try to change the location of the installation, but I only get the error “cant install on set location”

I don't know about Mac, but installing on Windows makes entries in a SYSTEM REGISTRY file... and that file stops working properly when a program installed on an external drive is disconnected when the drive is unplugged

 

So if it you could install on an external drive, you shouldn't
