install fails, creative clous says product is installed

upgrading to lightrom 5. The install did not work and thereis no trace of LR5 on my machine,but CC says it is installed and will not refresh or do anything.i restarted CC several times but it will not change. I need Lightroom and I don't knew how to install it.
