Install LR Classic on different drive than the System drive.

Hi,

I want to install Lightroom onto a different drive as my main drive does not support case insensitivity. So that was my way to work around that problem. Now I understand that I cannot install on a different partition but have to use the main one. Is that right? That way I will not be able to install Lightroom at all as I will not be able to change the filesystem. Is this serious or am I missing something?
