Oh boy...

New user and first question - go gently pls.

Tried to install creative cloud to my desktop and Error 22 came up about case sensitive issue.  I spoke with chat and they told me to uninstall driver in utilities, and I dont have one.  They said to input serial number which I did and it says unavailable driver (photoshop/lightroom4).  So, they sent me here.

p.s. - was pc user until yesterday

Thanks in advance for any help!

Lilli

What @Test Screen Name said.

You cannot install Adobe products on a volume that uses a case-sensitive file system, such as HSFX (HFS+) or UFS.

This limitation applies to both the startup drive as well as the drive onto which the software is installed.

See: Adobe error "Case-sensitive drives not supported" or similar install error | Mac OS.

What is the "older registered version"? No old apps from before 2019 could possibly be used in Mac OS 12.1.

But anyway - if you get a message that your disk is case sensitive, you have to resolve that by reformatting your system disk (which will lose ALL OF YOUR FILES).

Thank you for info

It was Photoshop Lightroom 4 - which was what? 2012? 🙂
