I have Photoshop CS4 and my computer crashed. I have a new IMac and no DVD driver.

How can I install my version of CS4?

I really don't want to purchase another version

Any help?

Thanks,

LeRoy

    >new IMac

CS4 may not work on a new Mac

CS6 and earlier programs HAVE NOT BEEN TESTED AND WILL NOT BE UPDATED for Mac El Capitan or newer operating systems

-which means that you try to use CS6 and earlier at YOUR risk of having problems due to Apple updates

-this is about CS6 (which is from 2012) but it will probably apply to other programs of that age

-Apple did not maintain backward compatibility with old programs in El Capitan or newer operating systems

For future reference, you might consider picking up an external DVD drive. They're not very expensive anymore and could come in handy.

Also, since you're trying to install CS4 on a new Mac... it's likely you're going to be running into some compatibility issues since CS4 is such an outdated piece of software at this point. Just be aware of that
