Installation

After an update of Bridge - some weeks ago - on Desktop Apple Catalina I have two versions of Bridge (2021 and 2022) on my desktop. This should not happen, I think, and I need only one version. My problem is: can I deinstall the older version without destroying the new one? Already thank you for help.
