Hello,

i try to install Adobe CC on a new Macbook Pro with High Sierra 10.13.3

It fails with installation code P22 (volumes caps sensitive are not supportet)

so i have the SSD partitioned and created a new volume (APFS, non caps sensitive)

how can i install Adobe CC in this volume?

thanks a lot for any help

best wishes

Michael

Correct answer Jeffrey_A_Wright

i will format my system drive today

so i choose APFS, not APFS case sensitive, right?

Yes, Michael.  Once you format the drive using APFS you will be able to install the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application and any Adobe CC applications.  I would recommend bookmarking Learn how to download your Adobe Creative Cloud apps for once you are prepared to begin the installation.

I am sorry to say that this solution did not work for me: I had to wipe my SSD clean and start completely over. In other words, just adding a new APFS volume on my drive, although I made it case-insensitive, was not enough. The Adobe install app kept seeing my SSD volume as case-sensitive!

your  os drive must be non-caps sensitive to install the cc desktop app, https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud

the adobe programs can be installed on any non-netword non-caps sensitive drive. to Change Install Location for Applications

With the CC application opened, choose the little gear icon in the upper right corner and then choose Preferences.  In the Preferences screen select Creative Cloud and then look for the Install Location drop down
