Installation error PSE 10

I keep getting an error message when I am trying to download my PSE 10 program on my new laptop. It keeps telling me to uninstall it but I don't even have it on my computer. While I do this process it keeps giving me an error message. Any suggestions?

    check your installed programs to make sure it's not installed.
