"INSTALLATION FAILED" CS6 Mac

I am re installing CS6 (Mac) from a fresh download. The download works, I get a .dmg to mount, click install and get the error: "INSTALLATION FAILED"

It mentions possible "missing files" however I have re-downloaded to no avail. I have restarted. Tried the CC cleaner (nothing to clean). Installed on main profile. Help...

    download the dmg file using a different browser and check that its file size is correct.

    if that fails, you'll need to check your log files, Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6, CC

    First, thanks for the response kglad.com.

    The offered options failed to yield results.

    There are no Adobe logs of any type in the logs folder -- I suspect that the install did not get that far. It only begins the install then fails when the status bar reaches near 100% then reads "Installation Failed"

    I have:

    - Downloaded via different software - 3 different attempts

    - Downloaded .dmg directly, no install software using the direct link.

    - Tried install on admin profile (all other programs off)

    Any further suggestions?
