Installation Failed, w/Adobe Shockwave Player 12.0

(Pleases see the Subject, "Installation Failed, w/Adobe Shockwave Player 12.0".  Besides this I see, "There were errors with the installation.  You may want to try installing it Again."  [ & Again & Again … ! ]

I use an iMac, with System X v10.8.3.  It has a 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5 Processor _&_ 4 GigaBytes of RAM.

(Really. my iMac is from mid-2011.)

What is happening with Adobe Shockwave Player 12.0?  Thanks at giving any help you can.  🙂
