Installation failure elements 2026

I bought elements 2026 from my adobe account. When I try to install it on my mac running 15.6.1 I get error 183. I've uninstalled AVG software but it still fails. I've looked in the console and there are no error messages. When I try to click help I get a message directing me to the uk website. I've had an account with adobe for many years and never had this trouble before. What can I do.

While checking that the AVG internet security had been fully removed I noticed that Elements had in fact installed and was listed in the applications even though the installation process threw up an error. When the error message appeared I assumed the installation had failed and didnt think to look for it in the applications folder. Anyway thanks for your help.
