Installation Frustration

I just purchased Photoshop Elements 10 and am extremely frustrated with Adobe support.  The chat people were useless and now I've been on hold for 46 minutes, when the wait time was supposed to be 22-30 minutes.  I'm hoping someone here can help me.

I have a MAC.  The download file says its for Mac/Win so I think I"m ok.  I did not receive a .dmg file in my downloads.  I tried downloading an expander app - that did not work.  Any help would be appreciated.  I'm extremely frustrated.
